I joined this special school for a particular reason...
The past experiences which made me walk though that door...
Things that have happend to me, have attracted me to this art...
They are reasons I show up to the dance each and every day...
I have loved and lost, as can happen in life...
I have learned and taught, involving everyone who has ever crossed my path...
I have hurt and been hurt, as can happen often in this cruel world...
I have been happy and sad, which seems to be a revolving door...
These experiences have made me who I am...
They will continue to affect me, affecting who I will be...
My past life has brought me to this magical place...
The lessons I learn here will impact who I will become...
Now I am at a new stage, learning new things...
Learning not necessarily to fight, but to protect...
Appreciating life, not destroying it...
Being careful, not careless...
All new things...
Does Sensei realize the power he commands, the power he brings to the situation???
The transformation he is creating...
Do the sempai realize their role in my life, the assistance they are providing???
Helping me walk along this on this new, interesting road...
Do the kohai know what they are doing, by walking side by side with me???
Walking parallel through this quest, where ever it may lead...
While the future is waiting, here and now is the person I am becoming...
