Clarence Davis, 1st Dan

Clarence began his study of Aikido in 2000 with Benjamin Pincus Sensei. A former student of Jujitsu, Clarence continues to find mental and physical challenge in balancing the rigor, attention to technical detail and the martial intensity at Aikido of Champlain Valley.

"I find that the technical structure of aikido allows the transmission of knowledge from teacher to student. By regularly training in the fundamentals we are continuously able to refine our technique and are able delve deeper into the heart of aikido. When I teach, my emphasis is on proper body alignment, posture and basic technique as well as physical conditioning and flexibility."
