ACV Kids on Aikido
My name is Blake Sullivan. I have been taking aikido lessons twice a week,
since the beginning of October. I have learned stories of how you should use the
martial art in a good way. Also how it first began. The good way is not to
seriously hurt somebody. This is not a very easy thing to do, it takes a lot of courage. What I look forward to with this is how it will help me later on in life. For happiness is not to be scared of mean and cruel people. I also hope it helps me out with baseball. Aikido will make me aware. That's what I've learned and hope happens to me.

At first you think "I will never be a black belt."
I think you think that too.
Kick in aikido? Never.
In aikido you blend.
Do aikido and you will be glad.
On and on...soon you will get much better.
Leela Christian-Tabak, Age 8
AIKIDO TEACHES ME NOT TO START FIGHTS BUT ONLY TO DEFEND MYSELF AND END THE FIGHT.
Germaine Persinger, Age 9
Aikido is stopping fights, using all senses and being patient. That's what I have learned so far.
